About the Opportunity
This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [SC00]
The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need. This option is not available in the states of California, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, New York, Oregon or Washington at this time.
Responsibilities Include:
- Configuration/support security roles for Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solution.
- Develop/enforce governance over how Oracle HCM Cloud security roles should be configured, including the development of new security roles or consolidation of security roles.
- Understanding of core HR processes around compensation, talent management, recruiting and compliance to ensure security solutions can be implemented to meet all current and emerging business requirements
- Creating technical specification documentation, software configuration, and debugging
- Creating and executing comprehensive unit test plans, developing test cases, assisting with integration, and completing system test plans
- Developing technical designs and estimates to meet the business needs while supporting the company’s overall IT direction and standards
- Solving complex problems and troubleshoot functionality for issue identification
- Providing production support of implemented functionality
- Enable the HR functions to optimize business outcomes using Oracle HCM Cloud by acting as a liaison between the business and IT
- Provide business process support through maintenance of security roles and profiles
- Participate in the review of new functionality for each system release, testing and implementation
- Identify opportunities for improvements to how Oracle HCM Cloud security can be enhanced, collaborate with HR business unit on strategic direction of current processes
- Documenting processes/procedures and specifications for peers.
- Working independently or with business analysts to support requirements definition and test scenario identification.
- Consistently delivering high quality results.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, or a related degree along with 4 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of related experience.
- Related experience includes, but is not limited to: experience working as an IT professional supporting an Oracle HCM Cloud security roles.
- Ability and willingness to travel to Company sites, work flexible hours, and be available for call-in and after-hours support (7x24 operations) when needed
- Analytical skills to resolve problems and think creatively.
- Willingness to undertake assignments involving unfamiliar subjects, with the aptitude to learn quickly.
- Ability to learn new concepts in information technology, learn the characteristics of new systems and update skills to adapt to changing technology.
- Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to make formal presentations to various audiences, the ability to express difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Highly motivated to work independently and productively but also able to work in a virtual environment (working with remote co-workers using virtual technologies).
- Ability to meet established priorities and schedules, and willing to undertake assignments involving multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to provide software solutions and supporting entire software development life cycle
- Preferred experience with utility industry knowledge
- Must have minimum of 1 to 2 full life cycle implementations of Oracle HCM Cloud solution
- Well versed with Oracle HCM Cloud roles and responsibilities
- Ability to document security requirements and customize roles as per security requirements
- Must have extensive knowledge of role design, configuration, and provisioning processes, build data driven continuous feedback loops that ensure ongoing enforcement of security rules; promote accountability and place exception approval authority with business process owners
- Must have extensive knowledge of security configuration using data security policies and role customization in Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Must have experience in reviewing and prioritizing user access rules and building a risk prioritized list of SoD and restricted access policies.
- Must be an expert in developing custom security roles, security profiles and areas of responsibility (AOR)
- Must be experienced with sandbox customizations and Page Composer
- Must be experienced with Oracle Advance Security Controls and managing security audits and segregation of duties.
