About the Opportunity

This is an open position with FirstEnergy Solutions, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [FES]

 

Depending on candidate location, this position can be based out of Akron, Ohio or Houston, TX.

 

The Digital Marketing Analyst position is in the Marketing and Analytics group, focused on the Mass Markets business segment.   The Analyst will be responsible for developing and managing digital marketing and communications at every stage of the customer journey.

 

Responsibilities include:                                           

  • Collaboration with marketing campaign managers to implement digital components of acquisition and renewal marketing strategy, including digital advertising, email, and web content.
  • Assistance with website development by creating and updating templates within a content management system
  • Collaboration with internal IT resources on system changes related to website, improving UI/UX, optimizing conversion rate, etc.  (includes requirements gathering and user acceptance testing)
  • Project management for implementation of new customer communications platform focused primarily on email, including collaboration with IT to integrate back-end systems
  • Management of email content for all customer segments, including ownership of notification types, communications calendar, reporting and QA on triggered notifications, etc.
  • Interface with, and management of, digital agencies, in support of digital communications, digital marketing (including PPC, Display), new web content, etc.
  • Ownership of social media content and advertising, in collaboration with third-party agencies
  • Ownership of customer feedback loop on digital assets, including issue escalation with IT and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Reporting on website and other digital metrics as necessary


Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT or related discipline is required (MBA is a plus)
  • Minimum of 2 years of related professional work experience required
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, PPC, Display, Social, etc.
  • Experience in CMS, Adobe Experience Manager preferred
  • Experience in marketing management systems (i.e., Adobe Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Experience in digital analytics tools (Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to manage projects and work with key stakeholders to meet deadlines, with little to no supervision
