About the Opportunity

The Marketing Manager position is in the Marketing and Analytics group, focused on the Mass Markets business segment.   The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of marketing programs and campaigns for both customer acquisition and renewal.

Responsibilities include:                                   

  • Drive customer lifetime value (CLV) for the mass markets business unit, developing strategies and tactics for each customer segment, from acquisition through renewal
  • Actively manage product and pricing strategy for each marketing channel, focused on increasing profitability while maximizing conversion rate and customer retention
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal and external teams, across multiple channels including direct mail, door-to-door, telemarketing, mass media, and digital (SEO, PPC, Display, Social, etc.).
  • Work with marketing agencies and internal resources to develop and test new creative for marketing programs and campaigns
  • Develop and test new offers and promotions, including customer incentive programs, working with third-party vendors and internal resources to implement
  • Cultivate relationships with external, third-party customer acquisition channels (primarily digital brokers), developing marketing strategies that are complimentary to internal channels
  • Design and implement segment-based communications strategy and tactics for existing customers, from onboarding through winback
  • Collaborate with marketing analytics team to implement market tests for both customer acquisition and retention, designed to lower cost to acquire and increase CLV
  • Collaborate with digital marketing analysts and agencies to design and implement digital marketing strategy and content
  • Deliver regular and ad hoc updates and metrics to leadership on marketing campaigns, P&L, customer retention by segment, marketing budget and spend, etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline is required (MBA is preferred)
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of marketing experience required, including digital marketing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and collaboration across the organization
  • Experience in managing third-party marketing agencies, with the ability to build strong relationships while ensuring accountability and successful project execution
  • Industry experience preferred, but not required
