Market Rate: Dist Assoc: $45,500; Adv Dist Assoc: $49,500; Senior Dist Assoc: $53,000

 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Distribution Associate:

- Demonstrates a solid commitment to safety.

- Performs various clerical and administrative duties including but not limited to timekeeping, absence tracking, claims packets, meeting minutes, sorting and distributing mail.

- Capable of performing basic correspondence and reports utilizing Microsoft Office Products and SAP. 

- Maintains filing and record systems associated with the Operations Services Section.

- Maintains appointment calendars, meeting schedules when necessary.

- Within a short period of training, must be able to perform the following duties in SAP: process and/or record expense accounts, credit card accounts, timesheets, invoices for payment, requisitions for office supplies etc.

- Demonstrates sound internal and external customer service. 

- Builds relationships and credibility across the organization.

- Increases understanding of customer expectations.

- Use effective communication skills with good judgment.

- Participate in the storm process using RoD, and be available to work extended hours as needed. 

- Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Adv./Sr. Distribution Associate:

- Performs various clerical and administrative duties including but not limited to timekeeping, telephone reception, sorting and distributing mail, maintaining filing and record systems, process and/or record expense accounts, credit card accounts, timesheets, invoices for payment, requisitions for office supplies.

- Primary responsibility for various complex administrative assignments requiring initiative, judgment, and well developed knowledge and skills.

- Demonstrates a solid commitment to safety.

- Resolve customer issues and requests in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.

- Work with minimal supervision and direction.

- Independently anticipate and meet internal and/ or external customer needs.

- Manage resources wisely; make sound decisions that enhance the sections financial position.

- Possess the oral and written communication skills to effectively exchange information with internal/external customers and Company employees on behalf of the section. 

- Participate in the storm process and be available to work extended hours as needed. 

- Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

- Must have high school diploma or GED.

- Must pass the Company’s EEI Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) test.

- Must have ability to deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines.

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

- Work effectively in a team environment.

- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work load.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Able to handle confidential information.

 

Distribution Associate:

- Minimum 4-7 years related work experience preferred or demonstrated effective performance at the Distribution Associate level or equivalent.

- Utilize SAP, CREWS, GIS, SPANS, RoD.

- Must have ability to deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines; ability to work in a fast paced environment.

- Work effectively in a team environment.

- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work load.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Able to handle confidential information.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Adv. Distribution Associate:

- Requires 7-10 years previous experience in the Distribution Associate position, or other equivalent position.

- Demonstrate a questioning attitude to continue to learn, produce results.

- Must have in-depth understanding of applicable products and/ or services and of customer needs and expectations.

- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Sr. Distribution Associate:

- Requires 10 years or more experience in the Adv Distribution Associate position, or other equivalent position.

- Must model active learning through continuing to develop breadth of knowledge, skills, and perspective.

- Must have the ability to lead by example.

- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork skills; oral and written communication skills; and possess the ability to independently prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and work in pressure situations.
